The Historical Society regularly publishes Chebacco, an annual history magazine, a guide to the plants in the Heirloom Garden at the Somesville Historical Museum, and a guidebook for a walking tour of Somesville, Mount Desert Island's first permanent settlement.From time to time we also publish special interest papers, including introductions to local sites of historical and cultural interest.
